The Association of Creative Thespians is a Theater Club located in Syosset High School which gives students the opportunity to effectively refine and contribute their personal skills to a larger community. Whether you're into acting, stage crafting, singing or dancing , we welcome and need all! We do three main stage shows a year which include a Drama, a Musical and a Shakespeare. We also have a One Act Competition (where students get the opportunity to direct a short play) and Student directed shows (where select students get the chance to direct a drama or musical of choice). Through out the year, we also execute various events other than our shows to increase our club spirit. We enact community service, fundraising, and morale events to give back to our community, raise funds to keep our club running, and deepen our relationships with one another. To the people involved, this club is more than just an extracurricular. The members of A.C.T. are a tightly woven and welcoming family that truly love the theater arts and desire to exercise their various passions together to accomplish great things and develop deeper in character.
