ABOUT US

ACT (also known as the “Association of Creative Thespians”) is Syosset High School’s drama club. A.C.T is more than just a club that meets once a month. We have three main stage shows every year (the Drama, the Musical, and the Shakespeare), two or three student directed productions in the Little Theatre, a One Act play competition, an improv game night, and various showcases throughout the year! ACT is also much more of a community rather than just a club. We hold a morale event, which are huge club hang out events, and a community service event each month. Some morale events we do include Murder Mystery and a Halloween party, and popular community service events are sandwich making and performing at nursing homes,

IF YOU HAVE ANY INTEREST IN PERFORMING, STAGE CREW, BUILDING COOL SETS, COSTUMES, AND JUST MAKING AMAZING FRIENDS IN GENERAL, COME TO ANY OF OUR MEETINGS (OUR MEETINGS ARE THE FIRST THURSDAY OF EACH MONTH) OR SEE MR. CONNOR IN THE LITTLE THEATRE!!! ACT IS SO WELCOMING TO NEW MEMBERS AND WE CAN’T WAIT FOR ANOTHER FANTASTIC YEAR!!
